The Seniors are looking to rebound from a loss and some frustrating cancellations but have a lot to look forward to in the second half of the season. See below a mid-season report from Captain Campbell McKellar:
It’s been a frustrating couple of months for the Seniors team since their 5-1 win against Richings Park in April. Stockley Park cancelled both matches as they failed to find players, and another fixture against Grim’s Dyke was postponed. The only subsequent result was a 3.5-2.5 loss away at Strawberry Hill – which in all fairness was a good showing.
There is good news to balance this out however! We will be replacing Stockley Park on the schedule with Pinner Hill for 2027, and next week there is a fixture against Finchley for the first time.
There are lots of things to look forward to – we now have matches every week until the end of August, so it’s going to be a busy summer!
